About Alexis Rojas
Alexis Rojas, Ph.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of surgery and a licensed psychologist at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Rojas received a doctorate in psychology from Florida State University, and completed her predoctoral internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and her fellowship in clinical health psychology at UF Health Jacksonville. She specializes in trauma and critical care psychology, adaptation to traumatic injury, grief/loss, and collaborative medical care. Dr. Rojas offers experience clinically, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis, with contributions in areas of research and teaching, along with program development and expansion.
