The Jacksonville Nonprofit Hospital Partnership, a coalition of local health care organizations, has developed a racial health equity conference series in an effort to enhance awareness and understanding on factors that negatively impact the delivery of health care for members of racial and ethnic minorities.
In light of recent national and regional events and consistent community health trends, the partnership believes it is more important than ever to look at ways this community and others can overcome barriers and provide an equitable system in which every person has access to good medical care to help improve their quality of life.
